Hey Ladies,
So as you know we have some single boys working at the Laguna Beach shop... The Bachelor of the month is Adam (AJ) Goldstone.

Not only is Aj a ripping face melting surfer, he is definitely the ladies man.

Another day at the office for John, Charlos, Summer, and Courtney of Toes. The group has been down in Costa Rica for the last week on a "work" trip. Surf has been decent in the Matapalo area of the Osa Peninsula, and the weather is SCORCHING. Charlos has the torched back to prove it. The crew has hit up a few above average days across the bay at Pavones. Surf report for the next few days: More swell, more sun, lots of suncreen, plenty of bug bites, and a LOT of beers to drink.

Toes on the Nose introduces the "2nd Wind Project" Check it out

The “2nd Wind Project” is Toes on the Nose’s personal effort at reducing the carbon footprint of old discarded sailboat sails. The recycled sailcloth is used to produce handmade, limited edition board shorts, board bags and beach bags that are manufactured entirely in California.

Each garment, individually, uniquely, and locally crafted, results in a higher-than-average traditional board short cost, retailing between $95 to $125. Customers however, are happy to pay the premium for its distinctiveness. Production of these one-of-a-kind board shorts, board bags and beach bags are already in the works and will be available soon.

The 2nd Wind Project was released in January at Orlando, Florida’s Surf Expo and at the recent Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City, Utah. Orders are coming in from boutiques, sailing clubs and surf shops across the United States, Hawaii and throughout the Caribbean.

“The 2nd Wind Project gives us a chance to use recycled material in creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces to incorporate into our collection,” said Richard Allred, Toes on the Nose president. “As a company dedicated to the art of surfing, it is important for us to do our part in keeping our oceans and earth clean.”

"Surf Mommas" -

Why let your kids have all the fun! Surfing is a blast and a good workout, so let our experienced women instructors get you started. Get in the water and experience the feeling of riding a wave while your kids are at school. Primary instruction will be given by Kirsten Allred, a National Champion and World Rated Longboard Surfer.


"Super Groms"-

Learn to surf in this all boys surf class taught by all boys! 'Super Grom' boys will learn the basics of surfing, ocean safety and surf etiquette in this low pressure, high excitement enviornment. Gather your buddies, brothers, or meet other boys learning to surf. primary instruction will be given by Toes on the Nose surf pros.

"Girls Rule"-

Learn to surf in this all girls surf class taught by all girls! Girls will learn the basics of surfing, ocean safety and surf etiquette in this low pressure, high excitement environment. Gather your friends, sisters, or meet other girls learning to surf. Primary instruction will be given by Kirsten Allred, a National Champion and World Rated Longboard Surfer.

"Sunday Funday"-

Make Sundays your family surf day! Spend your Sundays learning how to surf with your family and friends. Sunday surfers will learn the basic skills of surfing, ocean safety and surf etiquette. Primary instruction will be given by Kirsten Allred, a National Champion and World Rated Longboard Surfer. Wetsuit and surfboards are provided for a $5 material fee, payable to instructor.

So... Happy New Years everyone! Hope everyone had a good one!
The waves have died down a bunch but we have still been out everyday.
Yesterday was a day of wildlife, not only do we see turtles in the line up everyday but on the drive back from the beach we saw plenty of monkeys, every species of bird you can think of ( macaws, tucans, parrots ) snakes, crocs, stray bulls with huge gentitals ect....
Courtney has about 5,000 bug bites and I am sure she may have bot fly.
Charlos's hair is platinum blonde and John is darker than Morgan Freeman.
Today we surfed and swam our brains out. Came back ate another amazing meal and now we are on a mission for this delicios hot sauce for Kirsten ( not lizano) and rum for Hank.
Well, check back in a few days for pics and stories we have some good ones.
Wish you guys could see where we are, so freaking insane!!!
